  Our favourite breakfast place in town. Service is usually very friendly and the food is quick but delicious. Of course we have been there and had to wait but because of the open concept kitchen you can see how hard their staff is working and that they have a lot of ours. Jersey Fires are delicious and better than the home fries.

  We walked in about 45 minutes to close, not realizing they close at 3pm. The waitress seemed extremely annoyed that we were there, and half of the chairs were up. When our orders came up they were all brought over, except for one, which then sat in the window for at least 5 minutes, while all of the staff stood around chatting to someone who had just come in that I assume also works there. We finally had to wave in order to get the waitresses attention, despite the fact that one of the cooks was trying to tell her to bring it to us.
  The food wasn't very good either. The potatoes tasted like they were coated in dust (or maybe the fryers have never been cleaned) and everything else just tasted bland.
  I wouldn't even qualify it as a greasy spoon, because at least greasy spoons have decent food, despite poor ambiance and service. We definitely won't be returning.

  Today, (Wed. Feb 1st, 2017) at 9.59 we arrived, As we have eaten here many times over the past years , we where greeted by a sign stating "wait to be seated please" ....after 2 minutes we where told to sit anywhere we liked, once we only ordered water to drink, we where then told the morning special was not available due to the fact it was 10:02. I clearly stated we where here before 10 and asked for an exception, instead we (two older folks who have eaten here 50 plus times with our kids) This is when the waitress stated " I cant do anything", when we asked to speak to the Manager, she stated she was the manager and there is nothing she could do.
  The fact we drove there in winter conditions, got there on time and have had the younger waitress serve us before under similar conditions, (Plus she got a nice tip as she is human)
  We find the MANAGER was wrong, extremely rude with her approach, and it seemed to be because we ordered water instead of the $2.25 a cup coffee.
  Since this was our last visit here, I strongly suggest you order coffee, arrive at least an hour early and DO NOT sit in the managers section.
  The younger staff have been outstanding in the past, but this is our second time with this older server and water issues, its OBVIOUSLY a TIP issue (we always tip 15%) as the waitress/manager is trying to inflate the bill and if you do not follow her directions, you will not get good service or ANY service for that matter.
  PS, the food is excellent, the place is clean, it just needs a manager who can manage a restaurant properly, even 18 year old McDonald's Managers can figure that out, come on man!!!!!

  I don't know now why this place has so many bad reviews. I am a local here and this is my favourite breakfast place in town! The orange juice is enough reason to go lol, it's the best! The customer service isn't as bad at the review so say, I've never had a problem. I think I know the one lady people are complaining about.... she walks around a little grumpy, but if you smile to her she's kind... I'm thinking the citiots coming up are maybe just a tad too sensitive lol. Enjoy your breakfast :)
